AI Dungeon, the text-based adventure game that lets you do basically anything, has now launched for iOS and Android. It's one of the most impressive games of its type on mobile, and I'd strongly recommend that you give it a go. Here's why…

You'll start out by picking a setting: fantasy, mystery, apocalyptic, zombies, or custom. And from there, it's really up to you where things go. This is all down to the game's "extremely advanced artificial intelligence" which uses "a massive deep neural network." That all sounds a little complicated, but AI Dungeon is actually super simple to get to grips with.
AI Dungeon 2 is publicly released! You can download it on iOS now and Android in another day or two. As a holiday gift we've decided that it will be completely free till the end of the year so try it out now! https://t.co/bed8zMJrbr— Nick Walton (@nickwalton00) December 17, 2019My only real negative at the moment is that it takes a fair while for the game to respond to your actions. That said, when everything works as intended, it allows for some genuinely impressive moments of (often ludicrous) storytelling.

As much as I'd love to show you some cool scenario I helped create, I've spent most of my time in-game trying to solve life-or-death problems using farts or other such bodily functions. It's never been pretty, though I must say that my unorthodox playstyle has often proved surprisingly effective.

To celebrate the launch, and as an early holiday gift, the game is free for a limited time only. You'll find AI Dungeon available for download now from both the App Store and Google Play. If you have a good time with it, you could always donate to its creator's (Nick Walton's) Patreon page to help fund its continued development.
Vote for YOUR Game of the Year in the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2020
Leslie shook her head.
A CERTAIN poor widow had one solitary Sheep. At shearing time, wishing to take his fleece and to avoid expense, she sheared him herself, but used the shears so unskillfully that with the fleece she sheared the flesh. The Sheep, writhing with pain, said, "Why do you hurt me so, Mistress? What weight can my blood add to the wool? If you want my flesh, there is the butcher, who will kill me in an instant; but if you want my fleece and wool, there is the shearer, who will shear and not hurt me."Nature hath charged me that I hoard them not,
The Wolf and the Shepherd
Twitter's been a magical place for news today it seems, and especially since Gareth Noyce essentially just teased Lumo's Nintendo Switch debut.
pic.twitter.com/E2Nw4wFRTh— Gareth In The Shell (@korruptor) July 27, 2017 After a cheeky screenshot showing off the game running on the Switch, people are understandably excited - myself included. If you've got no idea what I'm on about, Lumo is a 3D isometric puzzler which has already come out on Steam, PS4, Xbox One, and PS Vita.

As I've said before, I was fortunate enough to try the game out a couple of years back at EGX and it was an absolute joy to play. In fact, it brings back an area of gaming people aren't too aware they're missing, and on a portable platform like the Switch (without the issue surrounding its Vita version), it'll undoubtedly be one to add to the collection.

There's no time frame and no expectations or estimations as of yet, but we'll keep you updated once we know more.

Source: Twitter.

Gilbert was a long while in turning round; then he bent over Anne and looked in her eyes. Marilla, listening fearfully outside the door, heard a pitiful, heartbroken moan, and fled to the kitchen where Susan was weeping.CHAPTER 27
The Raven and the Swan
The Hart and the Vine
Great news today for fans of story-driven platformers as Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is set to release October 18th on the App Store.

Originally released all the way back in 2013, the game recently got a Switch port which we reviewed at the time, praising it for its stunning variety of levels and mostly solid gameplay foundations.

The game sees you adventuring through a dangerous fantasy world in an attempt to save your younger brother. The twist is that you're the one who put him there by use of a magical spell.

THE CAMEL, when he saw the Bull adorned with horns, envied him and wished that he himself could obtain the same honors. He went to Jupiter, and besought him to give him horns. Jupiter, vexed at his request because he was not satisfied with his size and strength of body, and desired yet more, not only refused to give him horns, but even deprived him of a portion of his ears."No, we are real friends now, Leslie, and I am very glad."

Mobile roguelikers will be pleased with the news that bit Dungeon II should be heading to iOS and Android this month of December.

You may not be familiar with the first game but you'll sure as hell get to know this sequel if you're a fan of action roguelikes.

As with every game with a sword in it, bit Dungeon II is inspired by Zelda, Diablo, and Dark Souls. Take that information and do with it as you will.

More enticing is knowing that you play a spirit in an undead world of demons. You're here because your lover's grave has been desecrated and you want to put her soul to rest again.

You'll need to venture through randomly generated dungeons to get to the grave.

This means taking on challenging and huge bosses, as well as disgusting enemies, levelling up and using items as you go.

Of course, being a roguelike, permadeath means that if you die you have to start over again from scratch.

But that only gives you more time to explore the unique attacks of each weapon, including ranged and magic types.

And even when you do complete the game (if you ever do) then you can play it over and over as much as you like, becoming even more powerful.

One-man developer Kinto Games's plan is to get bit Dungeon II out on December 15th for PC on Steam.

Hopefully, bit Dungeon II will arrive on iOS and Android around this time. That's the plan, although there are no guarantees of this at the moment.
Thanks Christian V.
