SOME THIEVES broke into a house and found nothing but a Cock, whom they stole, and got off as fast as they could. Upon arriving at home they prepared to kill the Cock, who thus pleaded for his life: "Pray spare me; I am very serviceable to men. I wake them up in the night to their work." "That is the very reason why we must the more kill you," they replied; "for when you wake your neighbors, you entirely put an end to our business."Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom (Full) Mod Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom (Full) v1.0 mod Features:Free buy full version60% OFF THIS GAME IN LIMITED TIME OFFER!FANTASTIC HIDDEN OBJECT PUZZLE ADVENTURE GAME FROM THE CREATORS OF ENIGMATIS AND GRIM LEGENDS!A young alchemist wants to enter the struggle for the destiny of the kingdom, but she must first face the dark truths from the past.
Battlecruisers was announced to be coming to mobile way back in August of last year, originally targeting an October release date, but a delay has meant the game will now release on 4th February for iOS and Android devices.

Battlecruisers is a 2D real-time strategy developed by two people from the United States and New Zealand. In it, you command your own Battlecruiser in the ocean as you decide which defences to build so you can protect your cruiser against frigates, destroyers and bombers that your opponent sends at you.

You can use defensive items such as shields and boosters to protect your cruiser, while also utilising the power of builder drones to increase your production speed. Just like your opponent, you can also turn the tables on them and launch an offensive arsenal of your own too featuring fighters, gunships and attack boats.

There are other powerful choices for your weapons too, such as death star satellites, nuclear rockets and long-range artillery, which are referred to as experimental ultra weapons. Check out some gameplay for the game in this trailer we’ve linked below.

A FAMISHED WOLF was prowling about in the morning in search of food. As he passed the door of a cottage built in the forest, he heard a Mother say to her child, "Be quiet, or I will throw you out of the window, and the Wolf shall eat you." The Wolf sat all day waiting at the door. In the evening he heard the same woman fondling her child and saying: "You are quiet now, and if the Wolf should come, we will kill him." The Wolf, hearing these words, went home, gasping with cold and hunger. When he reached his den, Mistress Wolf inquired of him why he returned wearied and supperless, so contrary to his wont. He replied: "Why, forsooth! use I gave credence to the words of a woman!"

We've got very exciting news today as we announce Glen Foxy: The Game - nah, I'm just kidding. Today we're thrilled to announce that our own Deputy Editor extraordinaire, Mr Glen Fox, has been appointed as Editor of PocketGamer.co.uk. A round of applause please, everyone.

Fox started his career back in 2012 when he started blogging, writing guides for Prima Games, and then headed up a Hong-Kong based mobile games studio as lead writer. In 2014 he started writing for Steel Media, rising quickly up the ranks to become editor of Quality Index and 148 Apps, before subsequently taking up a position as Deputy Editor with Pocket Gamer.

As Fox is a keen and enthusiastic chap this next era of Pocket Gamer brings about a new and exciting chapter as we continue to produce important news, guides, features, videos, and opinion pieces. The site will also be getting a makeover come 2017 so brace yourselves, ladies and gents.

"I'm truly delighted to be appointed as Pocket Gamer's editor and I'm proud to be part of such an awesome team at Steel Media, who continue to thrive on the cutting edge of the industry," says our beloved Editor. "I firmly believe that 2016 was the biggest year in mobile yet. We saw the launch of the ultimate mobile game in Clash Royale, the biggest mobile game ever in Pokemon GO, and breakout hits like Slither.io and Color Switch, demonstrating that you don't need a publisher to make it big. That's a huge positive that no other platform to date has offered." Amen to that.

Please join us all in congratulating Fox's fantastic promotion and know that with him on the case, Pocket Gamer will continue to grow and thrive as the leading website for mobile and handheld gamers.

Having won Pocket Gamer's Big Indie Pitch on its home turf last November, Jordanian developer 3 Dot Games has just launched its winning work – quirky platformer Daft Jump. It’s enough to make you jump with joy.

Daft Jump is a frenetic side-scrolling platformer with a distinctly retro style. Jump over obstacles of the spiky and lasery kind as you run through each of its 8 levels. Throughout each stage, there are gold coins to collect and characters to unlock, as well as an in-game store to spend your well-earned coinage.
