Kemco has released a new RPG on iOS and Android called Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom.

It’s set in Muspelheim, a desolate land of desert and dry rock where heroes go on adventures and monsters prey on the vulnerable. You play as Volker, the son of a blacksmith who has always dreamed of bigger things. He wants to become an adventurer like the heroes he hears about in minstrel’s tales, but instead finds himself on an adventure to become the court blacksmith instead.

Your main goal in Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom is to become a world renowned blacksmith. Gather materials, craft them at the workshop and sell them for a profit later on. How you go about getting those materials is a little tricker, which’ll have you exploring deep into underground dungeons and mines, defeating monsters and trading with other merchants.

Flyhunter Origins, the Pixar artist-animated platformer on iOS and Android, is out on PS Vita today in the US and December 10th in Europe.

The game costs £4.99 / $6.99 on the PlayStation Store.

Its price is the same on Steam for its PC and Mac versions, which will also go live on the 10th.

In Flyhunter Origins, you take on the role of Zak, a janitor on an alien spaceship in charge of cleaning up a mess left in the wake of an accidental cargo ejection.

Our review of Flyhunter Origins gave it a Bronze Award, calling the game a stylish platformer with nostalgic roots.

Read our full review of Flyhunter Origins, or check out the game for yourself on PS Vita.

[UPDATE: January 2019 appointments now fully booked, sorry! It may still be possible for us to see your game – please come along to the Pocket Gamer Journalist Bar between 2pm and 5pm, on either 21 or 22 January, where we will be accepting walk-up meetings if journalists are available. Alternatively, delegates can request meetings through the Pitch & Match system – or track us down at the actual bar after hours.] If you're a game-maker yourself - and we know many of our readers are - there are a thousand reasons to come to Pocket Gamer Connects in London in January 2019.

The networking, the workshops, the panels and talks, the parties. But if you're a developer working on a game, surely one of the most valuable benefits of being at Europe's leading mobile games conference is the chance to meet the press. That's us!

"Chance"? Why yes, there is usually an element of chance involved. It can be hard to pin a journalist down, even at a venue like PGC. There'll be 2,500 industry professionals there on January 21nd and 22nd. It'll be our biggest ever professional get-together. So our expert writers, editors and reviewers will be extremely busy.
Show us your games
Fear not. We've taken some of the randomness out of it with our Journalist Bar. This fantastic concept was pioneered last year and went down a treat, so we're rolling it out again.

It's not a bar in the booze sense; think "Apple Genius Bar". It's a place to rock up and meet a member of the media. The mornings will be by appointment only, the afternoons will be for walk-ins.
[BOOKING FORM NOW CLOSED]
To avoid disappointment, please make an appointment. Then we can ensure there's a member of our lovely Pocket Gamer team there waiting for you at that time. We want to see new games, and you've got new games to show, so let's schedule it.

If you're unable to make an appointment for the Monday or Tuesday mornings, the Journalist Bar will be open in the afternoons for people to come and say hi. Please note that it will get busy so meetings are limited to 15 minutes. We can't promise any specific coverage following a meeting, but it's a great way to get your project on our radar.
Please note: you also need to be registered for PG Connects, an appointment is not a ticket to enter the conference and does not guarantee entry. Appointments are first come, first served so if you visit that link and there are no available slots... sorry. There will be some walk-in time at the show, with Pocket Gamer staff available on our stand as much as possible. Come by and say hi, you never know, we might have a moment to play your game. If you’re feeling especially confident, you might want to have a bash at formally showing your game to the Big Indie Pitch judges. Hey, you might even be able to contact a member of the press via the event's Pitch&Match system. But that's limited too, and if you can't schedule something, you may just have to try and collar us another time. Captain Jim had no fish. He seldom went out in his boat that summer, and his long tramping expeditions were over. He spent a great deal of his time sitting by his seaward window, looking out over the gulf, with his swiftly-whitening head leaning on his hand. He sat there tonight for many silent minutes, keeping some tryst with the past which Anne would not disturb. Presently he pointed to the iris of the West:CHAPTER 4

The creator of Undertale, Toby Fox, has officially confirmed on Twitter that the game will be coming to Switch in all regions in September.

Japan has a release date of September 15th but there is not an exact release date for us in the West - at least we won't have to wait much longer to make new friends on Switch.

UNDERTALE will be releasing for Nintendo Switch in September in all regions!!! (Exact date still forthcoming!!!)Obviously you can download the game on release, but if you wanted to pre-order the physical collector's edition, do it here on Fangamer.(UT merch is also on sale!!) https://t.co/FNtRlf8CG1— tobyfox (@tobyfox) August 13, 2018 Fox also announced that the Collector's Edition is available for pre-order now, and it's a very nice collector's edition indeed. It comes with art cards, bookmarks, the soundtrack, a necklace that's also a music box, and obviously the game itself.

However, you can only buy it from Fangamer so folks outside America might have to pay some expensive shipping costs to get it, and that also means it might not be delivered at launch.

If you're willing to pay for the shipping and are much more patient than I, you can get the Undertale Collector's Edition from Fangamer at $69.00.

But if you'd rather not say goodbye to all of your money you can get Undertale digitally when it's released for the Switch in September.
